Refundable Security or Damage Deposit Fee $500: If the condition of property is left in good order as identified at check-in and no violations.  (pets, smoking, late check out, extra occupancy, excessive A/C, or lost KEY).  For the comfort of all guests there is No-Smoking inside the house. Because smoke get into upholstery and linens, we will access a $250 cleaning fee if smoking is detected in the house. Loss of  security deposit will occur if there is a total disregard for the home; If home is left with excessive amounts of garbage or extra messes requiring increased work for our cleaning team, and/or if delay in cleaning causes new Tenant check in past 3pm and/or if rules as stated above are violated.  Please keep the property, furnishings, and everything included in the house in good order and return them in the same condition as identified at check-in for our next Tenants. 

Keys in Lock box at front door. 4 digit code given at booking or texted to you. 
Contactless entry or Owners can meet & open doors on your day of arrival. 

Fred & Laura live next door and are available if you have any questions or are in need of any additional amenities not already provided at the house (ie., extra blankets, pillows, larger crock pot)  

The Property is located West Chandler/South Tempe area in Corona Gardens Estates. Chandler Arizona.

Backyard seating, BBQ grill, Fire Pit, Private

We accept Dogs only with Pet Fee and signed Pet Addendum. Up to 2 small dogs. $50 per pet / per week 

Non Smoking House: $250 cleaning fee for smoking detected in house. Including Vape & Marijuana 

Fred is a native of Arizona, born and raised in Globe. He was a Manager for SRP, 

our utility company and retired Aug 2018. He is retired Chief Master Sargent, US Air Force after 25 yrs of service.  He is also a musician- playing drums for a local band.

Laura, originally from the Chicago area; North Suburb- Crystal Lake. She came to Arizona for College (ASU) and decided to stay after getting her Business Degree in 1978. She retired in 2021 from  American Airlines after 33yrs as a Flight Attendant. 

Fred and Laura met in the neighborhood & married in our back-yard. The reception was hosted by our neighbor Debbie that owned the vacation rental next door. We purchased Deb's house Dec 2016 and called it "Desert Orchid" since we lived on Orchid Ln in Chandler AZ.  We have enjoyed our 7yrs of hosting families & friends visiting Arizona. We have always 'direct booked' to repeat guests to save them service fees. Houfy is a natural next step...
